The shade on this one is a globe of green pressed glass, and the surface is the reason to buy it: the glass is divided into segments, each one ribbed in a fine feather pattern that runs at an angle. Light coming through it breaks up instead of arriving flat, so the fixture throws a pattern onto whatever is below, and the glass keeps its color even when the lamp is off. A brass collar sits at the top of the globe against a black canopy and cord.

Three diameters: 5.9 inches (15 cm), 7.9 inches (20 cm) and 9.5 inches (24 cm). The two smaller sizes are meant to hang in a row — two or three of the 5.9 inch over a bar counter or kitchen island, spaced roughly two feet apart.
