A painted metal mushroom cap on a slim stem, with no cord to run anywhere. It charges over USB-C and then sits wherever you want it - a nightstand, a shelf, a windowsill, the middle of a dining table - which is the point of a lamp this small. The cap throws the light down onto the surface rather than out into the room, so it reads as a pool of light rather than as a lamp you look at.

Four colours: yellow, red, dark green and brown. They are painted solid and glossy, so this is a lamp that shows rather than blends in; if you want something that disappears into the room, this is the wrong one. It stands 11 inches tall on a 4 inch base, with a 4.7 inch cap - small enough to sit beside a stack of books without taking the surface over.

The LED is built in at 5 watts and cannot be replaced, which is what keeps the stem this thin. A USB-C cable is included; the lamp does not run from the wall while charging is in progress, so it is worth charging it overnight the first time. Rated 5V. This is an indoor lamp. Two-year warranty. On a dining table it is bright enough for atmosphere but not for reading.
