A pendant that reads as an object rather than a light fitting. The shade is molded by hand from high-density polystyrene and finished with a sandy, plaster-like surface, so it catches light across its face the way a river stone does instead of bouncing it back. Nothing about it is perfectly symmetrical, which is the point.

Two shapes are available. Shallow Wave is low and wide, its rim sweeping up at the sides so the whole underside opens into a long, soft pool of light — this is the one that works over an island or a dining table, where you want light down on the surface and the fixture itself to stay low in the room. Deep Dome is rounder and taller, closer to a pebble, with the rim curled in so the lit interior shows only as a warm crescent. It is the quieter of the two and suits a hallway, a bedside or a corner where the lamp is seen more often than it is worked under.

Size matters here more than with most pendants, because the shade is wide rather than deep. As a guide: 20-30 cm for a bedside or a row over a narrow counter, 40-50 cm over a table for four, 60 cm over a kitchen island, 80 cm when the fixture is meant to be the thing you notice first. Each shade covers roughly 3-5 m² at the smaller sizes and 5-10 m² at 60-80 cm.

There is also a three-light version: a round 50 cm ceiling plate carrying three shades at 30, 40 and 50 cm, hung at staggered heights, available in either shape in white.

The cord is adjustable up to 150 cm and mounts to a standard ceiling box. A 12 W LED E27 bulb is included with every shade, and you choose warm white, cool white, natural white, or the three-color version that switches between them from the fitting.
