Pendant light, linear pendant, bar light. The fixture is a slim aluminium bar with an LED strip behind a frosted diffuser along its whole underside. It lights a long table evenly from end to end, which a single round pendant cannot do: one pendant leaves the ends of the table darker than the middle, and this does not.

Two lengths. The 31 inch bar draws 32W and suits a table for four to six or a desk. The 39 inch bar draws 40W and covers a longer table or a kitchen island. Both are only 1.7 inches deep, so the bar reads as a line rather than a shade, and both hang from two thin steel wires that adjust up to 59 inches, cut or shortened to the drop you want.

The light is dimmable with the included remote, from a working brightness for a desk down to a low warm level for dinner. That makes it one of the few fixtures that works for both, which matters in a room that is an office by day and a dining room in the evening. Black or white, both matte. It suits modern, minimalist and contemporary interiors. Over a dining table, hang it about 30 to 35 inches above the tabletop.
