A single sphere of clear glass on a cord, with nothing inside it but the bulb. The shape is the whole design: a globe reads the same from every seat at the table, and because the glass is completely clear, the fixture almost disappears by day and becomes a point of warm light at night.

Four diameters, from 6 to 12 inches. The 6 inch globe suits a bedside or a run of three along a narrow counter; the 12 inch is a single statement over a round dining table and will look undersized anywhere larger. The collar, socket tube and ceiling canopy come in black, gold or rose gold, and that choice matters more than people expect - the metal is what you see by day, when the glass is just glass.

Because the glass is clear, the bulb is part of the fixture. A vintage-style filament bulb is what this was drawn around; a frosted bulb will read as a blank white ball inside the sphere. The E26 socket is the standard US screw fitting and no bulb is included, so you set the warmth and the brightness yourself. It hangs from an adjustable fabric cord that is shortened during installation and mounts to a standard ceiling box. Over a dining table, hang the bottom of the globe about 30 inches above the tabletop.
